These smoothies are packed with antioxidants and gut-friendly probiotics, which help boost your pup’s immune system and digestive well-being. Potassium helps regulate blood pressure and muscle function (especially important for dog moms!), while vitamin C boosts the immune system and aids in collagen formation for healthy skin and joints.

Ingredients for strawberry banana smoothies on a plate.

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 cup Fresh Banana
  • 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • ¼ cup Unsweetened Applesauce
  • ⅔ cup Water
  • Reddi Whip and a few blueberries or strawberries for garnish (optional)

How to Make Strawberry Banana Smoothies for Your Dog

Start by thoroughly rinsing your strawberries, halving them, and setting them aside in a bowl. Next, take your frozen bananas, peel and chop them into slices, and place them alongside the strawberries. Prepare the plain yogurt, unsweetened applesauce, and water, so they are handy when you blend.

I used my Ninja Smoothie and Food Processing Blender for this recipe, but any blender will do the trick. Place all ingredients into a mixer and give it a good whirl until smoothly blended. Once done, pour the smoothie into your serving dishes. I usually serve my two dogs, Porter and Carly, about half a cup daily until it’s finished.

Always consult with a veterinarian before introducing new foods or treats into your dog’s diet to ensure they suit your pet’s needs and health status.

Elevate your pup’s snack game by adding a dollop of Reddi Whip, and garnish the smoothie with a berry or strawberry for an extra special touch!
